The Raritan Township Fire Company (RTFC), proudly serving Hunterdon County, New Jersey, since its founding in 1958, is a 100% volunteer organization. Operating from three firehouses, we protect 38 square miles—including the lives and property of more than 25,000 residents. On average, our dedicated members respond to about 800 emergency calls each year while actively participating in numerous community events and outreach programs.
 

With a highly trained team of approximately 50 active volunteers, RTFC provides essential mutual aid across the county, partnering closely with neighboring departments such as Flemington, Three Bridges, Readington, Annandale, Sergeantsville, Amwell Valley, West Amwell, and Quakertown, as well as rescue squads from Flemington-Raritan and Amwell Valley.

As a fully volunteer force, we're always seeking committed individuals to join us in this vital role—whether responding to calls, supporting community initiatives, or contributing in other ways. Your involvement directly helps safeguard our growing community.
